This is one of the common, yet beautiful ferns that often carpets acres of woodland. It grows luxuriantly from deep shade all the way out into partial sun. It is a great base for woodland gardens, and will spread well for the gardener.
The name "Sensitive" is because this fern is particularly sensitive to frost. It's hardy all the way into Canada, but once frost hits, it yellows quickly.
